In conversation: Perspectives on Australian politics

Hosted by ANU Alumni Relations

Renowned historians Professor Frank Bongiorno and Professor Chris Wallace will be in conversation about perspectives on Australian politics.

The discussion will be based on their recent books:

Political Lives: Australian prime ministers and their biographies by Professor Chris Wallace, which explores political lives and the intimate history of image-making, and image-breaking, in national politics.

Dreamers and schemers: A political history of Australia by Professor Frank Bongiorno, on the social and cultural history of Australia’s political life, from pre-settlement Indigenous systems to the present day.

This event is being held in association with Harry Hartog Bookshop. Books will be available for purchase on the evening in the foyer. Book signings will be available after the event.
