ANZAC battle sites and beyond: alumni tour information session

Hosted by ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences

Do you remember your favourite professor at ANU and the impact they had on your learning? And what about that study tour or semester abroad experience? It was life changing! Imagine doing something that combines the best parts of university life again, as a member of the alumni community.

Join this information session to explore a novel idea: an alumni-student combined study tour.

Acclaimed historian and award-winning educator, Professor Bruce Scates, and Head of Advancement for ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences, Andrea Morris, are joining forces to create this unique opportunity for alumni and students to travel and learn together.

Still in the planning stages, take a trip in July 2024 to visit some of Australian History’s most iconic sites: the ANZAC battlefields of Gallipoli and the Western Front of Europe.

We want to hear from alumni directly, about how can we make this alumni-student combined study tour the best it can be. The trip would include walking tours, museums, meals and events, with lots of chances for stimulating discussions, inspiring stories, life-long learning and incredible perspectives shared by Professor Scates. Join us to view incredible images and to hear what is in store for participants.
