Answers to frequently asked questions about the ANU Donor Portal and the one-time code sign-in process.
The ANU Donor Portal allows you to view your donation history and update your contact details. To improve security and simplify access, ANU uses a one-time code instead of a password. A six-digit code is sent to your email each time you sign in.

About logging in
How do I log in to the donor portal?
Enter your email address on the donor portal login page. A six-digit one-time code will be sent to your email. Enter this code to access your donor profile.
What is a one-time code?
A one-time code is a secure, password-free way to access your account. Each code is:
- six digits
- valid for 30 minutes
- able to be used once only
- limited to five attempts per login session
Why is ANU using one-time codes instead of passwords?
One-time codes help keep your donor profile secure while making it easier to sign in. You do not need to create or remember a password. Each time you sign in, ANU sends a new code to the email address linked to your donor profile.
Using your account
What happens if I have more than one donor account?
If more than one donor record is linked to the same email address, you will be prompted to select the relevant account after entering your code.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive my code
Your one-time code should arrive within a few minutes. If you have not received your code:
- check your junk or spam folder
- wait a few minutes and use the resend code link
If you still do not receive a code, you may be using an email address that is not linked to your donor account. Please contact the Donor Relations team to confirm or update your details.
My code is not working
Your code may have expired, already been used, or reached the maximum number of attempts. Please request a new code and try again.
