Answers to frequently asked questions about the Engage ANU Donor Portal and the One-Time Password (OTP) sign-in experience.
The donor portal allows you to view your donation history and update your contact details. To improve security and simplify access, ANU now uses a one-time code login. A six-digit code is sent to your email each time you sign in, replacing the need for a password.
This portal is for donors and supporters of ANU. If you are looking for student enrolment or other student services, please visit the Current Students page.
About logging in
How do I log in to the donor portal?
Enter your email address on the donor portal login page. A six-digit one-time code will be sent to your email. Enter this code to access your donor profile.
What is a one-time code?
A one-time code is a secure, password-free way to access your account. Each code is:
- six digits
- valid for 30 minutes
- able to be used once only
- limited to five attempts per login session
Why is ANU using one-time codes instead of passwords?
One-time codes improve security and make access simpler by removing the need to remember a password.
Using your account
What happens if I have more than one donor account?
If multiple donor records are linked to the same email address, you will be prompted to select the relevant account after entering your code.
Troubleshooting
I didn't receive my code
If you have not received your code:
- check your junk or spam folder
- wait a few minutes and try again using the resend option
If you still do not receive a code, you may be using an email address that is not linked to your donor account. Please contact the Donor Relations team to confirm or update your details.
My code is not working
Your code may have expired, already been used, or reached the maximum number of attempts. Please request a new code and try again.
