Join Noah Smith for a guided walking tour exploring the native plants growing on the ANU campus and the important role they have played in sustaining the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people for millennia.
A proud Kamilaroi man, Noah is an ANU Kambri Scholar and second-year Arts and Science student. Drawing on his experience with Bush to Bowl, which works with Indigenous communities to promote native Australian foods through education, Noah will share his passion and knowledge of bush foods as you explore the campus together.
Along the way, you'll learn about bush tucker used by First Nations peoples across Australia, see locally grown edible species and enjoy a tasting of bush tucker snacks.
